90-93 Pale lemon in colour. The bouquet displays a density over and above the other village Meursaults. This cuvée gets the same elevage treatment as the 1ers crus. Not backward but discreet on the nose, while the palate has more in the way of ripe apples than pears. The intensity builds very well to the back of the palate, now with pears as well as the initial apples. A fine fresh acidity completes the job. Drink from 2027-2034.
